
Kathmandu, 25 July/At the Maoist Politburo meet held yesterday, the members have raised demands on resolving internal disputes and forging towards new direction. Likewise, the politburo members also demanded immediately announcing for Maoists'
General Convention.
The politburo members suggested the party leaders to fix a date for the party's general
conventon. Likewise speaking at yesterday's Maoist politburo meet Haribol Gajurel and
Agni Sapkota said Party Chairman Prachanda's political report should be ratified without any correction. Meanwhile other eight leaders present at the politburo meet said that the report required some reformation. Most of the leaders speaking at the meet said prachanda's report had positive aspects but some necessary issues still needs to be added to the report. Some lawmakers have suggested including people revolt in political proposal. However, other lawmakers have said it is not necessary to include the provision of people revolt in political proposal. Maoist lawmakers have suggested the leadership to mention people revolt in the political proposal, to make party's strategy to address the present political problem, to systematize the party, to manage freedom of speech and to end the faction of the party. Meanwhile, while other leaders suggested corrections on Prachanda's Proposal orally, Maoist leader Devendra Poudel presented all the missing issues in the report, in a written form. At the 46 point suggestion letter of Leader Poudel, he suggested on various sectors including Power, army, Communist Movement and
Party's strategy. Likewise Maoist spokesperson Dina Nath Sharma informed the politburo meet held discussions that were positive towards' Chairman Prachanda's political report. Party leaders Dina Nath Sharma, Amik Sherchan, Lila Mani Pokherel, Hari Bodh Gajurel, Gopal Kirati, Shakti Bahadur Basnet, Agni Sapkota, Hisila Yami, Surendra Karki and Devendra Poudel expressed their opinions at yesterday's Maoist Politburo meet. ¿
